Bring in your plants, cover your veggies!

Horticulture Extension Expert Karen Neill advises gardeners to take in certain plants tonight and cover others.

Neill said veggies like potatoes and lettuce with new tender growth are vulnerable to freezing temperatures expected overnight.

She's not as worried about plants like broccoli, cabbage and onions, but said it can't hurt to cover them.

Neill also reminds gardeners to bring in potted plants if possible.
