IREDELL COUNTY — An Iredell County boy who is battling brain cancer continues to mark items off his wish list.

WSOC-TV reported that Matthew Bailey’s top 10 list consists of going to the Final Four, throwing a football with Cam Newton, visiting Cameron Indoor Arena and meet Coach K.

Bailey attended the Final Four last weekend. His family’s pastor, Joel Settle, said the teen has received an autographed Duke basketball team poster and an autographed Duke football helmet from Coach David Cutcliffe.

Settle said Matthew also received an autographed basketball from Coach K and a signed hat from Jabari Parker.

Lowe’s was able to get Matthew an autographed Cam Newton jersey.

A Facebook update released Friday by Watermark Church said the teen has been invited to Duke University for the basketball team’s banquet on Wednesday in Durham. He should be able to meet Coack K and players at the event if he is well enough to make the trip.

The teen’s family also reportedly received a call from Tim Tebow’s staff to get Matthew’s number. His staff told the family Tebow is going to try to give Matthew a call this weekend.
