WENTWORTH, N.C. — Police are searching for leads on two break-ins at a business in Eden.

On March 31, a suspect or suspects broke into Ararat Rock Products Company, located at 11651 N.C. 770, and stole a diamond-plated toolbox and a five-ton Army truck. The truck was abandoned and recovered a short time after the incident was reported.

On April 3, the business was again broken into. Airlines were cut to several of the business’ trucks, a light was busted and a GPS unit was stolen.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-349-9683.

I hope they are caught. When they are they need more than a slap on the wrist. Make them pay back all damages and work 6 months of weekends doing trash clean up, road kill removal, cleaning out the kennels at the pound, things like that.
If they are late or miss a day, give them another month of weekends.
