Matthew Bailey

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A seventh grader in Troutman with brain cancer is hoping to fulfill his bucket list — and his church is going to help him.

Matthew Bailey was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and is receiving radiation treatment, according to WSOC.

The seventh-grader at Northview IB School has a list of top 10 things he wants to do and his church, Watermark Church, is helping fulfill that list.

His list includes going to a Duke game at Cameron Indoor and meeting Coach K, attending an NBA Finals game, meeting Johnny Manziel and going to the Super Bowl.

Matthew was recently able to sit court side at a Bobcats game. That’s when the pastor of the church saw how good he felt after the game and decided to help him finish his list to help lift Matthew’s spirits to help him through his battle with cancer.
