Pleasant Garden neighborhood evacuated after gas leak

PLEASANT GARDEN, N.C. -- Several homes in a Pleasant Garden neighborhood were evacuated early Tuesday morning due to a gas leak.

The call came in around 5:50 a.m.

Officials say several homes in the area of Hunt and Braswell Roads had to be evacuated.

All residents were allowed back in their homes by 7:30 a.m.
