Naked man tells officers he’s making tree his home

ALABAMA — A naked man in Alabama was arrested after police were called to a residence where the man refused to come down from a tree.

According to WAFF, Michael Howard Long, 40 was charged with public lewdness and disorderly conduct.

Police say they were called out around 5 a.m. when someone reported a naked man 40 feet up in a tree.

Crews had to use a bucket truck to get the naked man out of the tree after he refused to come down. After hours of negotiation, the man finally allowed crews to bring him down.

The man told police he was making the tree his new home. Police say the incident was drug-related.
