Train collides with tractor trailer in Colfax, one injured

COLFAX, N.C. — A train collided with a tractor trailer in Colfax Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at the intersection of West Market Street and Cross Creek Road, near National Pipe & Plastics

Officials say the driver of the truck is injured, but EMS said the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

    I work there by law we are not required to have drop arms only the already in place stop signs sized right by law rr crossing signs (already in place) on top of the big word stop in bold white letters painted on the road this drive was noting paying attention like 90% that come to pick up pipe and did not stop befor crossing the direction the train was traviling and and that the truck was leaving the plant he would have seen the train way befor it got to him
