Panthers sign former Steelers WR Jerricho Cotchery to 2-year contract

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery has agreed to terms with the Carolina Panthers.

The 11-year veteran caught a career-best 10 touchdowns last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cotchery signed a two-year contract with the Panthers.

He chose the Panthers over the Steelers two days after he visited Charlotte.

The Panthers are expected to add additional wide receivers over the next few weeks and in the 2014 NFL Draft.

    With all due respect to the Panthers new addition,I think this will be an expansion team kind of year for the Cats.Other team in the division are getting better and the Cats are getting worse.
