Food Lion donates $3k worth of gifts cards to children’s home in Thomasville

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Food Lion donated $3,000 worth of gift cards to Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina Thursday.

The cards will be used to replace perishable food items the home lost during the power outages caused by last weeks ice storm.

The food bought with the cards will feed over 80 children at the children’s home in Thomasville.

    Dang kids getting hand outs from the government all the time. I don’t understand why they can’t just get a job. I mean there’s jobs all over the place. I trip over them all the time. As a privileged white male I’m tired of people getting stuff for free. It’s not like I ever got anything free. LOL
