Man wanted for Calif. armed robbery arrested in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man wanted in California on an armed robbery charge was arrested Thursday in Winston-Salem by the U.S. Marshal Service, authorities said.

Conner Douglas Burns, 26, is accused of robbing a liquor store in El Cajon, Calif., in November 2010 and firing a shot into the store’s ceiling during the robbery, the marshals service said.

He is wanted for armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon by the El Cajon Police Department in El Cajon, Calif.

Federal authorities discovered a friend of Burns was living in Winston-Salem, Investigators saw Burns at a home in the 4800 block of Candlelight Drive. The marshals and local police arrested Burns.

Burns was being held in the Forsyth County Jail with no bond allowed, the marshals service said.

    Well, where is his mugshot? Why not a picture of the criminal? So we know when the pansy A** judge lets out with probation to prey on someone else,;;;we will then know what the pos looks like. How about protection of the public;;and quit protecting the perpertrators? Honestly, the Media are more concerned about offending some, MUslin or being called racist;;when they show the picture of an african american accused of a crime. Political correctness has brought this ruin upon our country.
