FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A former Fayetteville high school student is in jail, charged with shooting a BB gun inside the school.
WTVD-TV reported that Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies arrested 17-year-old Antionwan Haskins Saturday.
Investigators say Haskins went into E.E. Smith High School around 11 a.m. and began firing shots into a wall near the principal’s office. No one was hurt.
Shortly after, surveillance cameras captured the shooter aiming the gun at the principal’s car. Deputies say a shot damaged the front windshield
Haskins has been charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds, disorderly conduct, disrupting students and injury to personal property.
