Pittsburgh upsets No. 15 North Carolina, 80-75

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Pittsburgh has upset No. 15 North Carolina, 80-75, in the quarterfinals of the ACC basketball tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Talib Zanna led the way for the Panthers (25-8, 12-7 ACC), putting in 19 points to go along with 21 rebounds and three assists. James Robinson also contributed 19 points.

Marcus Paige put in 27 points and four rebounds for the Tar Heels (23-9, 13-6 ACC) in a losing effort.

The Panthers advance to take on No. 6 Virginia (26-6, 16-2 ACC) on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.
