NC State defeats Miami, 67-58

GREENSBORO, N.C. — T.J. Warren and the North Carolina State Wolfpack proved too much for Miami to handle Wednesday evening at the Greensboro Coliseum in the second round of the ACC tournament.

The Wolfpack (20-12, 9-9 ACC) defeated the Hurricanes (17-16, 7-11 ACC) 67-58, fueled by 46 combined points put up by Warren and Ralston Turner.

Warren put in 24 points to go along with eight rebounds and one assist. Turner scored 22 points.

Rion Brown led the way for the Hurricanes, scoring 22 points to go with four rebounds and one assist in a losing effort.

The Wolfpack moves on to take on No. 11 Syracuse (27-4, 14-4 ACC) Friday at 7 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.
