Man robs Food Lion in Oak Ridge

OAK RIDGE, N.C. — Police are looking for a man who they say robbed a Food Lion in Oak Ridge early Thursday morning.

The robbery occurred around 7 a.m. at the Food Lion at 7605 N.C. 68.

Police say a white or Hispanic male entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Police say the suspect may be operating a light colored sedan.

There were no injuries in the incident.
