High Point to consider renaming road to honor Martin Luther King Jr.

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The city of High Point is considering renaming a road to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The city is considering renaming Green Drive between Interstate 74 to the Interactive Business loop.

If passed, the road would be named Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.

A final decision has not been made. The council is expected to hold a public hearing on March 17th.
