STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — Two men and a woman have been charged after officers found a meth lab in King on Monday.
Richard Lee Swain, 34, Michael Gray Swain, 32, and Christina Lynn Chakona Cook, 40, all of King, were arrested following a search by officers at a home on Helsabeck Road.
Deputies seized a complete one-pot meth lab system, along with a quantity of cash, methamphetamine, precursors and components for manufacturing methamphetamine.
Methamphetamine manufacturing operations were located in the home, as well as in an outbuilding behind the house.
All three suspects face multiple felony charges including manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.
