Grandmother killed, boy injured in Durham stabbing
DURHAM, N.C. — A grandmother is dead and her 4-year-old grandson injured in an early morning stabbing in Durham.
Police say that around 5 a.m. Wednesday, authorities were called to an apartment on Glasson Street, about a “cardiac arrest,” but when officers arrived, they found an elderly woman stabbed to death.
Her 4-year-old grandson was also seriously injured and rushed to Duke University Hospital.
