Man robs Winston-Salem store, threatens clerk with ‘pointed’ weapon

Walgreens, 3634 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Walgreens in Winston-Salem and threatened people with a “pointed” weapon.

Police say the suspect entered the store on Reynolda Road around 7 p.m., took several items without paying for them and left the store.

When personnel from the store confronted him in the parking lot, he threatened them with a “pointed” weapon and fled the area with the merchandise.

No one was injured.

The man was described as a white male, 30s, 220 pounds and wearing a knitted hat, black shirt, gray jeans and white tennis shoes.
