DURHAM, N.C. — Duke hung on to beat Maryland in a 69-67 victory Saturday at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham.

WRAL reported that Duke was led by freshman sensation Jabari Parker, who finished with 23 points on 9-for-10 shooting from the floor. Jabari led all scorers with 23 points.

The Blue Devils trailed Maryland in the back-and-forth battle, but managed to fend off the Terps.

“That’s a cry-in-the-locker-room loss,” said ESPN analyst Jay Bilas of Maryland’s outcome. “That win could have sprung them into the tournament.”
