ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — The Rockingham County Board of Commissioners has declared Rockingham County in a state of emergency due to impending inclement weather.

The commissioners made the announcement Wednesday morning on the Rockingham County website, urging people to please stay safe.

Current models suggest the Piedmont could see anywhere from six to 12 inches of snow fall across the area on Wednesday.
