Dramatic video shows cop tackling suspect on bicycle

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A 19-year-old break-in suspect attempting to flee police on a bicycle was tackled by a police officer.

On Monday, police set up a perimeter after a man fled from Regional Transit police.

The suspect reportedly hopped over a fence, grabbed a bike and rode toward police and CBS Sacramento photographer James Taylor.

Just as Kennedy reached Taylor, he veered away from an approaching officer who tackled him from the bike. Bystanders and other officers jumped in to assist with the arrest.

The officer who tackled the Kennedy suffered a wound to his face.
