Charlotte police search for man who cut off electronic monitor

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need the public’s help finding a criminal who they say cut off his electronic monitoring device.

According to WSOC, Kevin Sims was last seen on South Boulevard near East Park Avenue in Charlotte Tuesday.

He is wanted by police on outstanding warrants for possession of a firearm by a felon, damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitor device.

Police say that Sims has “money bag” tattoos under his eyes.
