WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Salem College is the oldest college for women in the country, founded in 1772.

It is the 13th oldest college overall in the United States, but its athletic program is drastically younger by comparison.

The school only started playing NCAA Division Three athletics in 2006.

The girl's basketball team is having unprecedented success, but the players hope it is only the start.
