‘Bedroom project’ to uncover drugs comes to Guilford Co.

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — A program designed to show parents where kids may be hiding drugs will be presented in Greensboro Tuesday night.

The “Bedroom Project” is an interactive bedroom to give all the details of where and how kids may be hiding drugs.

Shannon Rutz,  a parent of a teen who died from a prescription drug overdose, will be presenting the program.

The program will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Page High School. There is no fee.

      Yes and it should be available for all grade levels you will be surprised at the younger children who are exposed to PD

    Do parents really need to be shown how to look for drugs in a child’s room? How about talking to parents about the symptoms of drug abuse, from the physical to the emotional. I don’t think most parents want to face the fact that their child could be using so they just ignore what is right in front of their face.
