GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a Greensboro business with a knife Wednesday night.

Officers responded to University General Store, 549 S. Mendenhall St., around 11 p.m.

The clerk said a man entered the store, brandished a knife and demanded money from the register. The clerk refused to comply so the suspect then fled the store empty-handed.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6’ tall, 30 to 35 years of age, with a slender build, and dark hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket. Most of his face was covered by a ski mask and he was armed with a large knife.

There were no injuries in this incident.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Anyone with any additional information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000.

I guess the white boys are getting in on the action in Greensboro. It is a equal opportunity crime city. Go to Greensboro knowing you can be robbed, stabbed, shot by just about anybody.
I am sure the arts center they are purposing will take care of everything. Why else would they be building it and not dealing with their homeless and crime?
