Woman shot, injured at Greensboro home ID’d

Home on West Florida Street

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro woman is in critical condition after someone shot a gun at her home on West Florida Street overnight.

Police responded around 12:55 a.m. Monday where they discovered several rounds had been fired into the home.

Tanya Lavern Tyler, 42, had been struck and was taken to the local hospital. The victim was last reported to be in critical but stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
