‘Winter workout warriors’ exercise in single-digit temperatures

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A group of "winter workout warriors" didn't let the extreme cold stop them from their workouts Tuesday morning.

Despite being 9 degrees at 9 a.m. with a windchill of -7, several woman stuck to their New Year's resolutions and continued with their scheduled outdoor workout with Piedmont fitness specialist April Hartsook.

    Anyone will tell you it’s not healthy to breath in cold air. Not too smart and this is why the hospitals are busy this time of year.
