Clemmons man faces child exploitation charges

CLEMMONS, N.C. — A Clemmons man is facing  several child exploitation charges and is under investigation for possession of child pornography.

Kip Landon Kale, 32, of 8133 Hampton Road, Clemmons, has been charged with ten counts of second degree exploitation of a minor, according to Davidson County deputies.

On Friday, members of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotic Unit along with the Department of Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at Kale’s home and he was arrested.

Kale has been under investigation since Nov. 17, 2013 for possession of child pornography by using the Internet to download child pornography.

Kale is in the Davidson County Jail under $250,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 30, 2014, in Lexington.
