Police investigating robbery in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigation a robbery of a person that occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on East Cone Boulevard.

Officers responded to the 900-block of East Cone Boulevard and located the victim, a 28-year-old male, who said he was walking through a parking lot when he was approached by two subjects.

The subjects reportedly demanded the victim’s property and began to assault him. The victim gave them his property and the suspects fled on foot.

No weapons were used in the robbery.

According to police, the suspects were only described as two black males. One suspect was wearing a black hat, a black jacket and black overalls. The second suspect was wearing a white jacket.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
