LEXINGTON — Police said they are investigating an armed robbery that took place on Christmas Day at the 7-11 convenience store at 1709 Cotton Grove Road.

Police said a man armed with a knife came into the store wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt about 10: 22 a.m. on Christmas day.

Police said the robber demanded money from a clerk and left the store on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.
