Group of people robbed in Winston-Salem, two shot

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A group of people were robbed and two people were shot at two different locations in Winston-Salem early Monday morning.

Police first responded to a shooting at 3237 Rosie Street where they found Thomas Terry, 36, suffering from a gunshot wound.

They then responded to 125 Fir Street, where they Maurice Evans, 30, also suffering from a gunshot wound.

It was discovered that four men in dark clothes and armed with guns broke into the home on Rosie Street and held the people inside against their will while they robbed them.

The men  then fled the scene in a white 2-door passenger car with Virginia registration tags.

Terry and Evans were transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where they were treated for their injuries. Both were expected to recover.
