GREENSBORO, N.C. — People driving along Battleground Avenue in Greensboro Saturday may have noticed a 20-foot robot dressed up like Santa Claus.

It was designed by Matt Greene from Duggins Welding Company and is in front of Burger Warfare restaurant at 1209 Battleground Ave.

The restaurant thought the robot would be a good way to spread some holiday cheer.

“We were going to put it up after the new year, but we thought it would be a nice present for the kids in Greensboro to throw it up early,” said Greensboro Developer Marty Kotis. “It's probably 400-feet, 500-feet of lights at least.”
