Shots fired into occupied dwelling in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responded to a call regarding shots fired into an occupied dwelling on Wednesday evening.

Officers were dispatched to the 900-block of Tipperary Drive around 8:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 22-year-old man who said he observed a man get out of a vehicle and fire several shots at his residence. The suspect then got back into the vehicle and left the area.

There were no injuries reported.

An investigation is ongoing.

    What is the deal with this? This is the third article I have read about shots being fired into a home. Are they random, are they warnings or just something sick people think is fun?
