Victims robbed at gunpoint by three masked men in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two men say they were robbed at gunpoint at an apartment building near North Carolina A&T State University late Sunday night.

Police responded to the N.C. A&T State University police headquarters where the two men reported the robbery that occurred at the Loft apartments at 400 North Benbow Road around 11:30 p.m.

The two victims, who are in their 20s, said they were confronted in the parking lot of the Lofts by three black males, two of which were armed with handguns. They were all wearing black clothing and face masks.

The suspects made the them go into one of the victim’s apartment and stole various personal items from the home, including the keys to a blue/green 2004 Toyota Avalo. N.C. registration plate is BFN-2069.

The suspects left the apartment in the Toyota Avalon.

The victims were not injured.

The suspects were only described as three black males wearing black clothing and face masks. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns.

The investigation is continuing at this time.

    Why are news stories so horribly written these days? Paragraph three: “…three black males, two of WHOM were armed with handguns…” Paragraph four states: “The suspects made THE THEM go…” “…2004 Toyota Avalo…”
    The story states twice that the suspects are described as black males, wearing black clothing and face masks. Two of them were armed with handguns…
    I’m not sure why such a short news story has to have so many mistakes.
