Thomasville Winterfest opens Friday

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Winterfest will kick off in downtown Thomasville on Friday starting at 1 p.m.

Thomasville’s Winterfest will include a Christmas tree lot, outdoor synthetic ice rink, life-sized gingerbread house made from edible treats and more.

“We want to bring something special to the people of Thomasville,” Winterfest coordinator Jennifer Tuttle told the Thomasville Times. “This is the something the entire family can enjoy and is a great to enjoy the holiday spirit.”

Winterfest will be located at 205 E. Main St.

The event runs through Dec. 29 and will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is $10 per person.

Winterfest is available for parties, gatherings and fundraising events.
