Some stores have already opened their doors on Thanksgiving Day.

Although Black Friday doesn’t officially get under way until midnight, Kmart opened its doors at 6 a.m. Thursday.

According to WCHS, the store opened earlier than any other retailer. Shoppers were waiting in their cars before the store opened to get their hands on Black Friday bargains.

The manager at the store in Kanawha City, West Virginia said they had a pretty good turnout Thursday morning.

Many other stores will open Thursday night, including Toys “R” Us, Walmart, Best Buy, Target and Sears.
