Man wanted for attempting to rob Burger King in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a man they say tried to rob a Burger King in Greensboro last Friday.

Police say a man walked into the fast food joint Summit Ave., around 7:10 p.m., placed a paper bag on the counter and told the clerk to fill it with money.

He was reportedly armed with a handgun.

Police did not say if the man got away with any money.

The suspect is described as a black male, 50-60 years old, close cut hair, thin black mustache. He was wearing a gray toboggan, black jacket, dirty gray shirt with white letters, blue jeans, black gloves and white sneakers.

He was also wearing clear safety glasses.
