Search for teen turns up attempted murder suspect

ELIZABETHTOWN, N.C. — A search for a runaway teen led police to arresting a young woman wanted for attempted murder.

According to WECT, the Elizabethtown Police Department was originally looking for 17-year-old Davana Tuck as a “runaway foster child.” Officers were able to locate her a short time later.

After an investigation, police discovered Tuck was wanted in Vance County for attempted first degree murder.

She was arrested and taken to the Bladen County Jail.
