Man accused of robbing a Walgreens in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was charged following an armed a robbery at a Walgreens in Greensboro on Wednesday night.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. at the Walgreens at 3529 N. Elm St.

Employees told police an armed subject entered the business and demanded money from a clerk. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the business and got into a nearby vehicle.

The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Caleb Fillippelli. He was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping, and communicating threats.

There were no injuries in this incident.
