Tickets for ‘Opening Day’ of 2014 ACC Tournament on sale Nov. 22
GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced that tickets for “Opening Day Presented By Food Lion” of the 2014 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament (Wednesday, March 12), will go on sale to the general public on Friday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m.
Tickets for Wednesday’s action of the annual tournament will be sold separately from the tournament book. Each ticket is $35 and includes admission to all three of the Tournament’s first-day games.
Tip-off times are scheduled for 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Seating is general admission.

In addition to a great tripleheader of basketball, ticketholders will also be treated to a performance by country artist Scotty McCreery. The concert will take place inside the Greensboro Coliseum after the conclusion of the second game of the day (approximately 6 p.m.).
“With our conference expansion this year, we felt it was important to do something special to celebrate the start of this historic, 15-team ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “Having the opportunity to purchase a single ticket for Wednesday that includes three ACC basketball games and a performance by one of the rising young stars in the recording industry offers a tremendous value to our fans.”
Beginning Friday tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster online (http://theacc.co/14TourneyTix), at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 and the Greensboro Coliseum box office.

The 2014 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament will run through Sunday, March 16. The Tournament will be played at Greensboro Coliseum for the 25th time, the most of any venue.
