Thomasville parole absconder apprehended

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Police arrested a man in connection with several charges, including breaking and entering, larceny and parole violation on Sunday.

Christopher Todd Ledbetter, 18, of Thomasville, was apprehended in the 400-block of Memorial Park Drive after a brief foot chase.

Ledbetter was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, misdemeanor larceny, obtaining property by false pretense, felony possession of stolen goods, two counts of resisting a public officer and parole violations.

He was placed in the Davidson County jail under a $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 27.
