Police respond to stabbing in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responded to a call about a stabbing around 9 p.m. at the Heritage House located at 310 W. Meadowview Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, High Stanley Quick, 52, of Greensboro, suffering from serious but not life threatening injuries.

Officers also located Lisa Leonette Brown, 44, inside the apartment.

Based on the investigation, officers determined that Quick and Brown were involved in a dispute inside the apartment and it escalated to a point where Brown assaulted Quick with a knife or similar sharp object.

Brown was taking into custody and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Quick was transported to a local hospital by EMS for treatment.

Greensboro Police Southern Patrol Division, CID and CSI responded.

The investigation is still ongoing. Additional charges may be pending.
