Military brides in Gastonia got free dresses on Sunday

GASTONIA, N.C. — Women in Gastonia lined up Sunday for a chance to get a free wedding dress.

WBTV reported that the “Brides Across America” gown giveaway is for women who are marrying a person in the military who has been deployed in the last four years or women who have orders for deployment a free dress.

“Brides Across America” is a national charitable organization which connects bridal salons with military brides for the purpose of the supporting American troops and their families.

Women got dresses on a first come first serve basis.
