GREENSBORO, N.C. — Three robberies were reported early Sunday morning in Greensboro.

Around 12:30 a.m., police said they responded to a home at 2405 Madison Ave. where a man with minor facial injuries said two men forced their way inside.

The suspects held the victims at gunpoint and demanded their personal property, according to police.

One of the suspects repeatedly struck a victim with a pistol, injuring his face, police said. The suspects reportedly fled the scene after taking items.

Police said the second incident happened around 1 a.m. in the area of 3804 Overland Heights as a man was assaulted by several men.

Police said the suspects stole his property and the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Greensboro police said shortly before 3 a.m., a robbery happened in a parking lot near 359 Montrose Drive as the victim was walking home.

The victim said he was assaulted by several suspects and was hit in the head with a pistol until he surrendered his property. Police said he was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
