ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies are asking for help in identifying a man who robbed a convenience store in Alamance County last Friday.

Deputies responded to the  Kangaroo convenience store on Highway 87 where the clerk said a white male armed with a weapon demanded money.

The suspect was described as being between 35 and 45 years old, 5’ 9” to 5’ 10” in height, and having a gray goatee or beard.

He was wearing a navy blue Miami Dolphins hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a light colored cap with a dark bill.

The suspect fled the scene driving a white, four-door vehicle, possibly a 2007 to 2012 Nissan Altima with a rear spoiler.

No one was injured during the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office at 336-570-6300 or their area enforcement agency.
