CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An 11-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the death of a 7-month-old in Charlotte.

The mother of the infant was charged Monday, but the grandmother said the mother was not at the home when the baby died.

According to WSOC, the boy was charged with felony child abuse for his involvement in the death of infant Camden Johnson.

Detectives are withholding the name of the boy due to his age.

The baby died Saturday, and officers arrested his mother, Wendy Johnson, Monday night.

Police were called to a home on Suntrace Way and found Johnson’s baby unresponsive.

The baby was transported to the hospital where he died.

Police say physical assault led to Camden’s death.

I am sorry. I must have missed the part of the story that said the infant was shot…..wait, the baby wasn’t shot…. Oh, maybe I missed the part of the story where the infant was beaten with a gun….wait, that didn’t happen either. In fact, I do not believe guns were involved in this story at all. How about come back with your comments where they are actually relevant. This is a tragedy all of the way around. An innocent baby is dead, an 11 year old child has been arrested for being involved. That is two young lives that are forever lost. Shame on you for trying to bring up a completely non-relevant political agenda.

Yes, had a gun been used earlier the female would not have been able to give birth to children she cannot take care of or raise to contribute instead of destroy. One could be used to eliminate ignorant people like Faith. So, see how that works. Great idea there Faith.
