HPU baseball team joins Miracle League for All-Star Game

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The hugs, holding hands, the smiles and the laughter. The connection between the High Point University baseball team and the kids of the Miracle League happens quickly.

Serving as buddies at the All-Star Game has become an annual event for the Panthers.

The High Point players enjoy the break from the regular routine of practice. They also enjoy making new friends.

Being involved with the Miracle League is educational. It's learning that goes far beyond the classroom.

From four teams to 10, the Miracle League continues to grow with the help of volunteers like the High point University baseball team.
