UNC rolls past Virginia with easy 45-14 victory

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — UNC rolled past Virginia in an easy 45-14 victory Saturday in Chapel Hill.

The News & Observer reported that North Carolina controlled the game in all three phases, scoring touchdowns on offense, defense and special teams.

It was the third consecutive victory for the Tar Heels (4-5, 3-3). Virginia fell to 2-8, 0-6 in the ACC.

Ryan Switzer had a punt return for a touchdown and Dominique Green had an interception return for a score for the Tar Heels.
