High Point’s Patrician Furniture closing its doors

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A High Point furniture company is preparing to shut its doors after nearly 50 years in business.

The High Point Enterprise reported this week that Patrician Furniture will close its headquarters by the end of the year.

The business is located at 1107 W. Market Center Drive.

The news comes from its parent company, Liberty Diversified International Inc., of New Hope, Minn.

The closure will cost Patrician’s 36 employees their jobs.

Patrician designs and manufactures furniture for corporate, hospitality, health care and government markets.
