GREENSBORO, N.C. — Four men were accused of robbing a man in Greensboro early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a breaking and entering at an apartment on Trinity Avenue around 12:45 a.m., where they found a man suffering from non life-threatening injuries.

The man was transported to the hospital.

Officers say Danarius Shealey, 19, Jamel McInnis, 20,  Jalen Gilmore, 19, and Kevin Daniels, 23, forced their way into the apartment.

They say the suspects pointed a gun at the two victims, stole an undermined amount of money and hit one of the victims with the handgun before fleeing the scene.

They were all charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, first degree burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and felony larceny.

A second victim was able to get away and followed the suspects as they left the scene. He called 911 and was able to provide a description of the 2004 Infiniti.

When officers initiated a traffic stop, the four men fled from the vehicle on foot but officers detained all of them shortly after.

The investigation is on going at this time.
